Hayley Wilkinson

Hayley graduated from the University of Queensland in 2015 with a Masters in Physiotherapy. She is currently completing her Masters of Sports & Exercise Physiotherapy through Latrobe University,  Melbourne. Since graduating from the University of Queensland in 2015 Hayley has been working in Private Practice on the Sunshine Coast.

Hayley has worked in the elite sports setting since 2011. Initially working as a Sports Trainer with the Geelong Football Club and then Brisbane Lions Football Club when she relocated to Queensland in 2013. She has continued her work with the Brisbane Lions Football Club and is now the physiotherapist for their Under 16’s Academy Program. She has also had experience with Rugby 7’s.

Hayley has been teaching Clinical Pilates classes since commencing work in Private Practice in 2016.  Hayley is looking forward to leading the upcoming Pilates classes happening at TKJ in 2021.

Hayley has a strong passion for helping people, and enjoys all aspects of Physiotherapy. She incorporates a hands-on approach with high quality education and exercise prescription to assist patients to reach their goals and return to their pre-injury hobbies & activities. Hayley has also completed further study in Concussion Management and is passionate about helping athletes return
to their sport safely following a concussion particularly if they continue to experience persistent symptoms.

Outside of The Knee Joint, Hayley enjoys spending time at the beach and keeping active.

  • Physiotherapist to the Brisbane Lions Academy (Sunshine Coast U/19, U/ 17 and U/14 teams) 2016 to present. 
  • Physiotherapist First Nations Rugby 7’s Men’s and Women’s team 2019-2020
  • Sports Trainer Geelong Football Club 2011 – 2013
